This is the fourth in a series of eleven monthly articles on burnt work by American artist Harriet Keith Fobes for The Delineator magazine.
In this fourth article, Fobes turns her attention to designs, gives a technique for tracing designs onto leather, and discusses in detail what sorts of natural designs work best with pyrography and why. This article offers a large number of designs that are discussed in the text.
If you have either any questions to ask or any information to offer regarding works or articles by Harriet Keith Fobes, please e-mail the E-Museum Curator.
