BURNT WORK. Conclusion.

by Harriet Keith Fobes

Adapted from THE DELINEATOR Magazine, January 1896 issue, pp. 100–101.
Butterick Publishing Co., London & New York.

This is the concluding article in a series of eleven monthly articles on burnt work by American artist Harriet Keith Fobes for The Delineator magazine.

In this eleventh article, Fobes offers instruction for burning on pasteboard and paper of all weights. She goes into careful detail as to how best to use the tool for optimum results when working with paper; offers many tips for working with the different varieties of paper products; and also suggests many different projects that would be suitable for paper.

With this article, Harriet Keith Fobes concludes a very instructive course of eleven classes in pyrographic decorative art.
