The circa 1900 article "DECORATIVE BREAD-BOARDS," displayed above, was written and illustrated by William S. Rice and published in The Art Interchange Magazine. Thanks to Ellen Treseder Sexauer—a descendant of William S. Rice— we have the partial article above, which we hope will help us find the last (missing) page to complete it. She has also graciously provided an additional article by her talented grandfather. It is entitled "Leather Sofa Cushions in Pyrography" and is also on display in the E-Museum at the link here to its title.

Ellen Treseder Sexauer is currently working on a soon-to-be-published book on her famous grandfather...

If you have either any questions to ask or any additional information to offer about William S. Rice and his art or articles on pyrography, or if you have the missing page 77 of the same article displayed here that you would be willing to share, please e-mail the E-Museum Curator.
