By William Fuller Curtis, 1910

Pyrography and gold leaf on relief carved and tinted wood panel
Framed panel is 13-5/8 in. wide by 18 in. tall.

American artist William Fuller Curtis (1873–1938) like J. William Fosdick before him, studied art at the Académie Julian in Paris.

The lovely panel displayed here was heretofore unknown to the E-Museum. Research is underway to learn more about this work, which is signed "William Fuller Curtis MCMX" in the upper left corner of the panel.

If you have either any questions to ask or any information to offer regarding this pyrography panel by William Fuller Curtis, please e-mail the E-Museum Curator.
