American artist and pyrographer Lorraine Zaloom from New Jersey combines her love and her husband's for blues music with her passion for pyrographic portraiture. She is presently working at a local arts school while simultaneously working towards a degree in computer graphics. Some of Lorraine's remarkable pyrographic portraits on wood boxes have made their way into celebrities' private collections.

Lorraine Zaloom was featured in the July–August 2002 issue of Chip Chats Magazine in the Cheryl Dow column "Art of Woodburning."
