Belgian decorative artist François Peeters from the small city of Malines, has been dedicated to pyrographic art for many years. François has become well known for the lifelike aspect of his works thanks to his trademark technique of creating an effect of bas relief without any actual carving.

Enjoy a visit to François Peeters's own website at users.pandora.be/fpeeters.pyrobattel/index.htm.

François Peeters' story and more examples of his figurative art are featured in Pyrograffiti 29 in the May–June 2004 issue of WOM.
