American artist Dominic Angarano from Wood River, Illinois has been experimenting in art since he was a child. Since discovering pyroengraving on gourds in late 1997, he has enthusiastically taken up the study of Native American cultures to portray, and also used pyrography on other materials in varied themes, constantly experimenting with each new project he undertakes.

Dominic Angarano's story and more examples of his art work are featured in Pyrograffiti 26 in the November–December 2003 issue of WOM.
