Of the works above, the first few are earlier works by Canadian pyrographic artist Carole "Burnie" Peters from when she was first exhibited in the E-Museum in 1998. Her very effective technique has since made her famous and much solicited for demonstrations and classes. In addition, she has developed a product line to teach her techniques, as well, including a few DVDs and some patterns in kits, which are featured on her web site SCORCHART.COM where more of her works are exhibited in the GALLERY section there.

According to the interesting introduction on her web site, she "redsicovered pyrography" in the mid-70's, and very effectively incorporated it into her already rich artistic repertoire ever since. She has become one of Canada's best known pyrographic artists, and her art works are in private collections in many countries in the world.
